Right the Stars
Right the Stars is the brainchild of singer, songwriter, producer Rich Jacques.

The band is comprised of Rich(vocals, guitar), BC Taylor(drums), and Alex Balderston(Bass).

Rich grew up in Wisconsin seeing California on TV wondering why he was living in freezing cold.

Rich's first record was Flock of Seagull's first record.

His Mom is a bible study leader.

Rich is not.

Rich now lives in California.

Alex won LA bassist of the year in'09.

BC comes from a musical family in West Virginia.

Right The Stars' songs have found their way into a number movies and TV shows.

The song "Best Days of Our Lives" is in an X-box commercial.

Rich sites moving to Stubenville, Ohio as one of his childhood's traumatic experiences.

It inspired him to spend long hours playing guitar.

Alex is from Hawaii.

The name Right the Stars was inspired by the line "you were right about the stars" from the Wilco song "Jesus etc."

Rich's favorite records are The Joshua Tree (U2), Laid (James), and Graceland(Paul Simon).

As a child his Peter and The Wolf record scared him so badly his parents had to mark it with black Xs so he didn't mistakenly listen to it again.

Upon hearing the new record Rich's Mom said "Sounds good, very professional."
